Dr. Lance Harrison was exposed to dentistry by a childhood friend whose father was a dentist, and by a mentor from college who ran a health careers program called Chicago Area Health and Medical Careers Program (CAHMCP) for future health professionals. Dr. Harrison felt compelled to serve in a profession that can have such a profound impact on a person’s well-being.
Practicing since 2006, Dr. Harrison received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from Morehouse College, his Master of Science (M.S.) in Neuroscience from Texas Woman’s University, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Howard University College of Dentistry.
He completed his general practice residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York and his pain medicine residency at the University of Southern California. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dedicating years to understanding how the mouth functions, innovative dental advancements, and the complexities of pain management, Dr. Harrison is committed to providing a professional, compassionate, and positive experience to clients of all ages in the southeast Florida region.
With more than 20 years’ experience spanning dental service, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, prosthodontics, senior leadership roles, and research, Dr. Harrison is proud to offer a variety of services with particular emphasis on general dentistry, dental implants, sedation, and more.
His patient care philosophy centers around building a trusting relationship through integrity, honest assessment, shared knowledge, and client comfort and confidence.
He strives to provide friendly, open, and educational service framed with patience and sensitivity, especially for clients who might understandably be anxious about time in the dental chair.
When he’s not changing lives one smile at a time, he spends every minute possible embracing the sights, sounds, and smells of nearby salty shores – his most favorite place to be.
